I'm not sure what you're asking. To turn the page generally means to move on from something

To wit: After a harrowing experience I was afraid to flying for many years, then eventually decided it was time to face my fear and turn the page.

I think that quitting playing music was one of those big page turners. After 40 years of playing live, I quit, and then lost interest in playing solo. Turned the page.

I have a few times. Sometimes it was a good decision and other times not a good decision. Either way it is better to turn the page instead of not making a decision and just staring at the page. Just my opinion though.
