Helen Mirren: a class act all the way

A Quiet American
While I might respect an actor's talents or the way they bring a character to life, I seldom want to be like them. An exception is the British Actress Helen Mirren... graceful, witty, pure class. I would love to go shopping with her sometimes for the gorgeous clothes she wears.

Any actor/actress you really wish you were like or were best friends with them?

IMO Audrey Hepburn was a class act. She was known not only as a fashion icon but also as a volunteer who worked tirelessly as a Goodwill ambassador for the UNICEF advocating the rights of children until her death. Her legacy continues as her family still continue to follow in her footsteps in actively supporting the work of UNICEF.

Judy Dench and Maggie Smith, I would add to the list with Helen Mirren.
The British actors/actresses seem much less "affected" by stardom than Hollywood stars.

Hmmmm.......I don't know what it was about Marilyn Monroe, perhaps it was her eyes, or maybe that very cheeky smile...........whatever, an evening with her would have been educational..........methinks. 😊
