I just ran into this forum when looking for some information on an old wooden box I picked up at an estate auction. The idea of looking for an antiques forum came to mind, I googled it and found YOU! How cool is that. Not that you/we are antiques mind you, but to discover a Senior related forum group. I had never thought to do that since I retired.
I live in Southwest Washington State near the little town of Napavine, just about mid way between Seattle and Portland. We moved out of the Seattle area after I retired three years ago to this quiet country place which I enjoy very much.
My interests are motorcycling, RC airplanes, land-sailing, kite flying and photography. Oh yeah, I am also into estate sales and selling my finds on E-Bay. Which brought me here today.
I am off to find the Antiques and Collectibles Group on this forum to see what I can learn about this Asian carved wooded box I found. Maybe I can be of help to others on here as well.
