Hello, everyone. My name is Stringalong. I am a mandolin player, guitar and singer.

Welcome aboard , some of my friends here in Australia have joined Ukulele bands and thoroughly enjoy themselves.

Hi ho from Northern Cal.
Our waiters and waitresses will be serving up some delectable topics from the senior buffet menu around the clock.
You're sure to find something that will delight your senses, as we only serve up the best (cough, cough, gag, spit).
(Where was I?) ..... Oh yes .... the tender meat of discussion is well-aged to perfection (hack, hack, arghhh),
and each side dish of comments is sprinkled with an array of seasonings that is sure to please (groan, gurgle, ..... oh sorry, indigestion)

And for dessert, you will be enjoying the uniquely crafted personality pudding in any flavor you can imagine (and some you can't).
As someone who has dined here quite often, I would advise you to bring along your beverage of choice .... 80 proof would pair nicely with most
discussion entre's, and some may even require several glasses.
That being said, enjoy your many, many meals..... your table awaits. Have fun.

Hi Stringalong. I am a 73+ guy who is trying to learn how to play a classical guitar. As I kid, I played the French Horn in a band and did that for 8 years as I was growing up. Therefore, I know how to read and play music, so learning to play the guitar is focused primarily on learning to play the guitar and not learning how to read music. When I was younger, I played a guitar learning some cords and strumming out songs. I am now working to learn how to play the strings and locating specific notes as I work through a song. In time I hope l will be able to blend cords and notes as I work through songs.

I have enjoyed playing but it is going slower than I had hoped. Any hints or suggestions would be appreciated.... regardless I do love the sound of my guitar and I find playing it very relaxing...
