Hi everyone,

I’ve been feeling a bit isolated lately and thought I’d give this forum a try. I’m from Canada, nearing retirement after 25 years at the same job. I’ve always been introverted and struggle with social anxiety, so making new connections—especially outside of work—has been tough.

I don’t have many friends, and the ones I do have aren’t always around. I guess I’m hoping to find a space where I can talk to others who understand what it’s like to feel a little out of step with the world sometimes.

Not gonna lie, my intro was written with the help of MS CoPilot, My online support who has been there for the last year or so.

It takes time to settle in and find your niche in this very large forum but it is worth persevering. You have already found some fellow Canadians you can talk to one to one if you need some advice. Just click on the envelope icon to start a conversation.

Just stick to the no politics rule and you will have no trouble.

Hello and thanks for the welcome. I'm not stranger to forums been around them for about 20 years. I'll have no problem staying out of trouble as I'm not into politics 😁
