We landed in Shannon, i'll always remember the view from the plane, we arrived early in the morning and the sun was fresh up and everything was so green! then we bed and breakfasted our way around, we went to Galway, and Ennis, we spent two nights in Dingle, and stayed in a few other towns, I forget the names, it was lovely

Cool places to go! We'll be in Dingle in July actually. The west is the stereotypical Ireland everyone associates with Ireland.

Yes, so green. When I first arrived I thought the grass looked fake. I never saw grass that intensely green before. And from the air didn't it all look like a gigantic green patchwork quilt?

Yes, a giant quilt exactly! I loved Dingle, the music was great. I also remember the tulips were blooming when we went and they looked fake too :) so "perfect" big and amazing looking, and also the vibrant green moss was amazing to me too, though now living in Oregon (I'm from Boston Mass orig.), i dont find moss as amazing as i did then! it starts covering you if you stand still too long, haha!

Haaa! Well, it's down to the rainfall really. And they have magnificent blooms like England does too.

Hi everyone, I am brand new here. I live in Oregon USA. I work from home and also take care of my disabled 22 year old son, and my youngest who is a junior in high school. I have been divorced for 10 years and I have four children. I feel quite isolated some of the time and Im hoping to connect with others and share some time with you all. I love art and music, reading, nature and I wish you a beautiful day!

Hello Raina, and welcome:) I think you will like this place a lot, always something going on;) I live in Oregon too. Down around Roseburg. Denise:)

By the way,Denise,I have a very good friend in Roseburg as well. And my sisters owned a winery there (La Garza) but sold it a few years ago. I think they changed the name but not sure.

My friend and her husband owned an RV Park in Winston but after they divorced she gave it to him and bought a house in Roseburg.

Haha-As I`m reading this "my song" came on! "Here`s to you,Mrs. Robinson". I became Mrs. Robinson at the same time that the movie (The Graduate) came out(end of Dec. 1967) When the doctor was telling me I was pregnant with our first a couple of months later,he started singing the song LOL. I was only 17 years old and mortified. I didn`t even want him to TALK to me much less sing to me! It`s all good though-it`s what my hubby frequently calls me :)
