Hello It Is Good To Be Here

Hello Everyone,

I am 59 years old. I do not know if that technically makes me a senior but it is close enough. I found this site/forum and it looks like a good place to communicate and hopefully make new friends.

Like a lot of people in my age range I find it difficult to meet new people and socialize. I do IT work and have one of those work from home jobs. That means I do not get out as much as I should. I decided to get a little pro active and look for ways to get out more, communicate with others more, and begin exercising more.

I hope everyone has a great day and thank you for taking the time to read this post.

Welcome, John C! I've always been thrilled to see new members who are younger than most join the forum. I think sometimes we become too limited in our views and can always learn something from you "youngin"s!

Hello everyone and thank you for the warm welcome. It was nice reading all the responses and seeing people from different areas and countries responding. I live in Houston and the summer heat will be coming through soon here. In Houston we say we have 3 seasons: Summer, July and August.

I am glad I found this site. All the forums look like a great way to learn and communicate with others.

John
