I would like to introduce myself. My name is Barbara and my husband and I are traveling pet sitters!
My husband I met at a large company 30 years ago. We both retired in our 50's and live in Asheville, NC. In 2017 we decided to spend a year in Europe. Long story short, we discovered pet sitting as a way to drastically cut expenses and be able to have the company of pets (we currently don't have pets).
Since we started pet sitting in 2017, it has literally changed our lives!
We have now completed 4 extensive trips throughout the States. As much as we loved Europe, road tripping for months at a time in the States has been incredible! We have learned so much on how to save money while traveling and at home, have found some incredible destinations and made some very good friends along the way.
I'm hoping to share our knowledge as well learn new things here!
