Help. Need advice on how to raise these gutters into place.

It seems like it would be pretty flimsy to lift all at once.

Could you use the ladders that it is resting on to create a gradual incline to lift one end into place and then move the ladders along to provide support as you go?

The other thought is to have a half dozen people spaced along on ladders to lift together.

Another Rube Goldberg idea, drive a nail every six feet in the fascia board and rig a heavy string like bailing twine to the gutter. Raise it gradually a foot or so anlong its entire length and repeat until it’s in place.

It seems like it would have been easier to work with the individual twelve foot sections.

I can’t think of a good way.

I’m curious to see how you end up doing this!

Good luck.

The easy answer is to not tie them together until after they're up! Since they're already tied together next answer would be four people spread out lifting and setting in place. If there's only two of you and you have two ladders you can space yourselves out and each have a 10' or 12' 1"x4" under the gutter, maybe even clamp or tape the gutter to the wood so it doesnt slide off, then each of you walk up the ladders at the same time. That's a bit of a balancing act but I think it would work.

This would be the standard way how to do it.

We decided to make two sections. The joint takes a special covering but is simple to install. We lifted the far side first on to the braces and it was solid enough to raise the other end in place. Then screwed them in with the appropriate drop. Then did the same with the other one. It to took about 4 hours to do. But it is done! Yea! :)
