Help with my pie

I can make an apple pie that is delish but that's the only one I can make. I made 2 cherry pies ,with fresh cherries. I pitted them by hand baked the pie an it was so bland. I threw one away. Even after all that work.
Now the same thing has happened with my peach pie. After peeling the peaches an getting the pits out ,baking it it was yuck. Couldn't taste the peaches at all. It called for flour,sugar, cinnamon an nutmeg .Cooked at
400degrees for 10 min 350 for 25. Can someone help me here. All that work an I throw it away.
 

I always use tart cherries for my pies. As for peach ones, much depends on the variety used. Just to be safe, I always add lemon juice.
