Here's my Senior Moment today....

Little while ago I jammed my feet into the "deck shoes" that I wear year round, the tennis type shoe with no laces...went out back to do something (didn't fall!!), and came back in, sat down, looked down at feet with opposite shoes???? Dang it LOL....

I can remember people's birthdays but can't remember their names!

I can't remember names either anymore unless you're my relative. Was never good at names, just faces.

I remember birthdays and names.. even addresses... I'm utterly useless at faces...but I have an excuse... I suffer from Face blindness aka Prosopagnosia . It means I don't recognise people's faces unless I've seen them many many times.. and only then if I've seen them in the same place..usually..
For example.. all the faces here I've seen thousands of times.. I know you because I see you in the same place.. but if was to meet you in the street I wouldn't recognise you.

Back in high school one of the girls at our bus stop was wearing 2 different shoes. When we told her, she ran back to change and just made it back in time for the bus.

I wasn't a senior, but I did have a moment. I was in my forties and at work when I realized I had on two different shoes. Thankfully, they were both black, and no one else noticed.

Did you not now it is considerd to be a fashion statement these days. Just went out the other day, forgot to put on regular shoes. I was still wearing houseshoes, one bright pink, the other gray. I can't seem to keep a matching pair together, one dog or the other runs off with one. I got around of applause at the store. Mind you, they know me there.
