Hope all is well. Obviously I'm a new member here - my name is Paul. I've been getting older for a long, but I'm "old" now. Retired about 4 years ago so me and my wife moved back to my beloved Idaho after 30 years on the rock pile in NYC. We live in what was a "ski town" - Sun Valley, but is now a retirement community w a ski resort on the side. It's so quiet and peaceful which makes me happy. I am the most content when in nature and in motion. Alpine skiing is my winter thing, golf in the summer, archery elk hunting in September, and fitness training year round. I like to cook as well.

I joined here to perhaps find others my age trying to stave off the inevitable physical decline and perhaps contribute some thing along the way. Just from the few posts I've read it seems like a very cordial and welcoming group so I look forward to getting to know my way around the Forums. Thanks for having me! Paul

You just take your time and enjoy the company here. Your forum name makes me smile!

Welcome, Paul! I love your screen name. Congratulations on escaping the big city and moving to a place where you can commune with nature. We did the same 17 years ago when we moved from Miami to a suburban, wooded area of Dallas. I just walked 3 miles today along a lake near our house after spending an hour at the gym, so I'm with you when it comes to being content in nature and in motion. Glad to have you here. I think you will find the forum members quite friendly and informative.welcome from Dallas.jpeg

Hello Paul and welcome to this multinational forum

For the record, I live in Australia and I think snow is horrible. You are welcome to my share. 😊
Thank you and that's very generous of you to share, I'm sure we'll be able to put any extra snow to good use.

We like snow so much we make our own!
