PurpleHaze, I hope you are doing better now. I've never had surgery but I've seen my husband recover from it so I know it can take a lot out of you.
 

Aww, thanks Linda and Shalimar. I do feel heaps better today. I was very nauseated and ended up in the doctor's office yesterday first thing AM as he wanted me in when I called the night before. Ended up giving me IV fluids and nausea medicine so I think that part is over for now, or at least my fingers are crossed that it is. I guess between the actual surgery, anesthesia, and just plain old anxiety I just got sick. Ugh is all I can say, just ugh! Was about to do a whole bunch around the house with laundry, etc. Plus I was fussing with and at my son and grandson who are staying with me for a few days while I mend. LOL! Son told me that's a sure sign I'm starting to feel better.
 

Thanks, Radish. I don't live on the coast so we aren't getting the force of hurricane rain and wind BUT we are getting more than our fair share of rainy weather. It has been raining since Wednesday afternoon with little let up! My sister lives on the coast and she says the wind was getting scary the other night.
 
Hi there! I Grew up in chapel hill, but raised my 3 boys here in Charlotte. I have one son and a brother in Durham or very close to it. So I hope to find some interesting people here, including you of course :) Need to looking around now. See you around!
