I lived in Norwich, CT for a while with my sister when my brother-in-law was at the sub base in Groton. The foliage was so beautiful in fall, though the snow was a little much for a Texan.
Yes, the snow certainly can be rough. Glad you enjoyed the foliage tho'. I'm a ways from Norwich, closer to Hartford. It's funny you should ask that. I live in Somerset, TX. Settlers from Somerset, England came to America and settled in New Jersey in a county named Somerset. Settlers then traveled to Kentucky and named the town where they settled Somerset. A group from Somerset, Kentucky then ventured to Texas and settled in a town they called Somerset which has been my home for over twenty years. Small world!HI Jean...where do you call home...?
