So whereabouts on Vancouver Island are you now Oceana? I spent most of my life in the Lower Mainland of BC there so I have a bit of an idea about the Island. You know, I've lived here on the East Coast now for about seven years, but I still miss 'home'.

Sorry for the delay ... been away. I'm from Edinburgh and depending on how well you know the area, I'm actually from Dalkeith, Midlothian, but went to school in Edinburgh. Where are you?

I live on the edge of North London...and I know Dalkeith. My maternal family live in Dundee and Edinburgh, I was born in Stirling and raised in the west end of Glasgow!

Loved Dunoon - went there for holidays several times when I was a kid.

I had an uncle from Dundee - we used to go up there and pick raspberries every summer. My brother was also born in Stirling - he's still in Edinburgh. Now Glasgow I don't really know much at all except that I once saw a rather "inebriated" person swimming for his life in a large puddle in Sauchiehall Street! I've been this side of the Atlantic since I was 24 - I like it, but sometimes I think it would have been nice just to stay home!
