So, a good friend of mine urged me to sign up for the service and since she's usually right about most things, how could I say no? (Hi WL)
Spent 30 years in cable television, movie adjacent and loved every minute of it. Knew I needed to retire when I kept wanting to throw up a gang sign at the few elders still roaming the halls of this very young company (average age was 35). Went from there to buying and renovating homes for a small rental business and then selling them when housing prices recovered. This was all right before covid when supply chains became disrupted, so had a bit of luck there.
Since then I've just been cooling my heels and trying to figure out what next? I have some ideas, but maybe can gather more from the forum's collective wisdom. Currently I'm rather haphazardly trying to landscape my brick ranch, so that project should take me to the end of the year. Though I am procrastinating about it because, honest to pete, I think I'd rather take a sledge hammer to tear an old bathroom down to the studs than plant a shrub.
Anyway, I have a dog, a cat, a few good friends and no significant other. Enjoy movies, binge watching tv shows, video games, reading and cooking for one.
