Hi, trying to introduce myself

I was looking for quite some time to find a "senior's forum" to be able to chat with other "Golden Age" people:) :) :) but couldn't find any until I came across this one, which I really liked! I like gardening, flowers, cooking, listen to music, also interested in health and well being as well as what's going on around my neck of the woods and the world. Always trying to learn new things.
 

The topics here are as diverse as the members, who are from all over the world .. welcome - nice to meet

Well you've come to the right place and I think you succeeded in introducing yourself. I'm always learning something new around here. :) We've got a nice bunch of folks from across the globe and there's always an interesting thread to participate in. Hi Redrose, I'm new here also. How are you today?
I have a new amarylis just opened today and it's beautiful.
Flowers and garden are my passion in the spring time.
I go to physical therapy twice a week and I love it.
They stretch my legs to reach outerspace .

Hello, sorry for not answering sooner, I keep busy with my houseplants. I too ave an Amaryllis it just has finished blooming and I cut the stem off, hope it brings another flower stem. I also have a Thanksgiving cactus which did bloom very nicely and then started getting new flower buds but I moved it a bit and it started to drop them. It seems now the plant has more leaves and I guess it is becoming new buds. Maybe I get it to bloom again. These cactus seem to bloom whenever they want according to what I was reading on a Gardening Forum on Face book.Beside those I have some other cactus and 2 bigger plants, which I don't know the names:D I'm also busy trying to plan for my vegetable and flower garden outside although right now we have a lot of snow and bitterly cold temperatures, it feels like I am in the "North Pole"

Well I'm biking every weekday for 30 minutes on my stationary bike to strengthening muscles and loose some weight! tell you more about this story next time.
