High-Definition (HD) Eyeglasses and Sunglasses - Are You Using These, Opinions?

I think the technology is valid (although I've never tried them) but I would stick to getting them from your optometrist and not ordering them from an infomercial.

Yep, I've seen "HD Glasses" advertised on TV for some ridiculous price such as $19.95, and they claim to cut glare and improve definition. More likely they're just a pair of yellow-tinted shooter's glasses, which is hardly high-tech.

I've seen the ads and they are appealing, but I have my own "high definition" coming my way very soon. Final measurement tomorrow and then first surgery on Valentine's Day!:woohoo1:

Have to say I'm not all that impressed with HDTV. Sure, the picture's nice but not all it's hyped to be. Of course, I'm already behind the times with the new UltraHD . . . !

Phil, don't rubbish shooter's glasses. Some are very high calibre.

Yes, but they don't claim all the whiz-bang scientific mumbo-jumbo that these other glasses claim. Yellow shooter's glasses have been field-proven, so to speak; these new ones just sound like another high-priced scam.

When I switch from regular channels to the same one on HD, it's a very distinct difference to me...so much more sharp and clear. The regular picture is dull and blurry. With HD, you can see people's individual pores in their face...not one of the pluses. :playful:
