High School Students Got Pepper Sprayed by Their Teacher

I hope he lost his job. That’s intentional assault. He should be charged and thrown in jail. No parent thought this unusual or asked why this is being done?

When I was a child, teachers were so much different. Oh sure there were some cranky ones, but there were some that I really loved. In 3rd grade, my teacher was Mrs. Taggert. We were in an integrated school. Mrs. Taggert knew what was going on in the outside world with all of the discrimination and racial hatred. But in her classroom, it didn't matter what your skin color was, or what your etnic heritage was. When you were in her classroom, you were her child. She treated you like you were her own child. She didn't preach anything to us. We learned from observing how she treated everyone. Some day up in Heaven, I would love to meet her again, and thank her for being the person who she was.
 
The title of this thread is misleading. It implies a teacher wantonly pepper spayed students in a classroom. This was a class about police procedures, and it was made know that the students would be pepper sprayed as part of the class. Does pepper spray have temporary effects? DUH! The student's exposure was minimal and controlled, compared to actual use. The students did live through the exorcise!
