History on Senior Forums

Could some of you forum old timers fill me in on how Senior Forums got started? Who was the founder? In perusing the members list I didn't see any date before 2012. So SF hasn't been around all that long?

I think I was one of the first members who joined here, in March of 2012, which was shortly after Matrix created Senior Forums. I was a member of his health forum for several years, when I noticed a link on that board to Senior Forums.

Since I was a boomer, I figured I'd check it out. The folks here were always nice and it was a pleasant place to visit. At the beginning of this year (2014), I agreed to voluntarily assist to keep the forum spam free and help as a moderator.

The forum is young and just starting to grow and develop.
