It's hard to tell, from your pictures, just what kind of sump pump you have. If you go to the Home Depot, Lowe's. Menard's web sites, there are several sum pumps in the $75 to $200 price range. Home Depot, especially, has a list of contractors that they recommend for various repairs, If you have a decent hardware store nearby, that sells pumps, they, too will probably have contractors that they recommend. I would be a bit skeptical of any workmen who are using sites like Facebook or Angie's List to solicit business,
There are several UTube videos that show how to replace a sump pump....a good way to educate yourself on what is involved.
Finally, I would not delay this repair. Given the reports of the storms that have hit the NE recently, you could wind up with a flooded basement if your area gets hit with a major storm.
