In my humble opinion, whether you understand the point of this thread or not, this is one stupid thread! We all need some idiocy on occasion, but this one is over the top (or under the bottom?).

Hamish and Luce are in a political forum and we are aligned in our political views. I don't know them other than that... certainly not personally. Luce was looking for a lighter forum and PM'd me. I recommended this forum. There are "roasts" in the other forum, so I can only guess they were roasting me in a similar fashion. Knowing their sense of humor I didn't take offense, but I do appreciate that so many came to my defense.
I believe they have left the forum, although I didn't encourage it. I do think it is important to spend some time in a forum and learn various people's personalities before jumping in with both feet. But that's just them. I will say I thought their intros were some of the funniest I've seen.
So, that's that.
Bottom line...Are we being played?

Come to think of it, I don't really know. It was Luce who reached out to me, and it was not until he joined the forum that he told us Hamish was his twin. I've never seen a reference to it on the political forum. I guess I'm guilty of taking people at face value. It blew up in my face, but I've made mistakes before.
