Hi all my name is Bryce Hutchison aged 64, married for 37 years and still am to my wife how has schizo-bipolar disorder.
I had a work accident 4years ago leaving me with permanent nerve damage in the base of my spine.
No; I am not writing this for a pat on the back or a shoulder to cry on.

We take care of each other and I consider myself lucky in that I can still walk and do most of what I did before; just it takes a bit longer to
get things done.

My corner of the world is the west coast of Tasmania Australia, and as the time of this post we are in the grips of winter.

And in case any one is asking; I have had both doses of Astra-Zenica with out any problems.

Hi Bruce, good to have you on Board..just feel free to join in any chat..

I've never been to Tasmania but I've got a couple of friends who live there, one in Devonport, the other in Launceston

Thank you for the worm welcome hollydolly. I'm in a small mining town called Queenstown, not to be confused with Queenstown New Zealand.
And I don't mean to be picky but my first name is pronounced as Brice as in rice-bubbles.

Welcome Bryce
I’m a Aussie as well , We know people who live in Whyalla S.A who were born / lived / worked in Queenstown mines in fact my husband has an odd looking shovel/ pick that belonged to his late mate when he worked in-the mines in Queenstown.

We visited in QT ( tassie ) in February 2000

Thank you every one, you will be pleased to know that Queenstown hasn't changed since you last visited Kadee46; but then again ti hasn't
changed much in the last 30 years or so either.

Hello Bryce, and welcome to the forum. I didn't get to Tasmania, but know a couple who live in Launceston. I lived in SA for several years, and miss my friends there.

I'm from Toronto, by the way :)

Good morning Bryce. You're asleep now but hopefully you check-in here in the morning. I wish I could send some of our 90 degree weather your way but I guess, just because you're having winter doesn't necessarily mean mean cold weather for you today especially in southern Australia.

You live in a charming town with beautiful mountain views which I'm sure you appreciate.
Take care and have a wonderful day.
