Do they come with sirens on or do you let them know you need assistance to get up and they just come directly in the smaller lead truck. I believe you live in a small town and they must know you.7;;30am firemen just left, again!!!!!![]()

Interesting that you find them different. I haven't had full-sized since I was a little kid. What difference do you notice?I only eat the full-sized Shredded Wheat. In theory, spoon-size shouldn’t be much different, but it is.
Why were they there, @hawkdon? Did you call them or did someone else?7;;30am firemen just left, again!!!!!![]()

Hmmm.... I looked up Shreddies. It seems to be a Canadian version of Post's Wheat Chex cereal, which is indeed quite different from shredded wheat.Shreddies Ingredients
Whole grain wheat, Sugars (sugar, barley malt extract), Salt, BHT added to preserve freshness
Shredded Wheat Original is made with just one single ingredient: Whole Grain Wheat. Simple. It's high in fibre, and with no added sugar or salt.
There’s something about the texture difference too that I don’t care for.

I would try those if I were in the US. It’s surprising to see the preservative, BHT is still in American foods. It’s banned here now. Here they can only use it in the packaging.Post's spoon-size Shredded Wheat (the unsweetened variety) contain only whole grain wheat plus BHT for freshness. Ditto Post Shredded Wheat Big Biscuit.
I like these too, especially the kind filled with raspberry and coated with sugar. Not great for my body, but good for my soul.Hmmm.... I looked up Shreddies. It seems to be a Canadian version of Post's Wheat Chex cereal, which is indeed quite different from shredded wheat.

This is Post's spoon size shredded wheat, which is what I was referring to. View attachment 479484View attachment 479483

Wish I were surprised. In the US, corporate dollars rule uber alles.I would try those if I were in the US. It’s surprising to see the preservative, BHT is still in American foods. It’s banned here now. Here they can only use it in the packaging.
@hearlady she just posted this Saturday.I'm here but barely. Just checking in. Getting a bit better every day but still a long way to go.
Thanks for all the well wishes.
Thanks@hearlady she just posted this Saturday.
oh so nice to see you again GOD BLESS!!!!!I'm up. The litter box has been cleaned. I've had my first cup of coffee since Christmas Eve. I've had a shower and gotten dressed. Nope, bed not made...so shoot me. In a little while, I'm even gonna wash up a few dishes.
The sun is out, and it's colder than a banker's heart out there. 26F is cold. We might see a high temp of 48 today.
Depending on which AI you choose to believe, spring is either 67 or 69 days away.
Obviously, I'm feeling somewhat better but don't want to use up all my "somewhats" before lunch! BBL
Me? Speedy recovery? Good grief, Gurrllll! I'm ambulatory and home. You do the same now, hear?Happy to hear that you are feeling better @Georgiagranny
You certainly have been through a lot.
Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery now
