How are you today?

Started emptying the guest BR & BA of my Covidy stuff. Towels and sheets are in the washer, will move my toiletries back to the master BA later this morning, get rid of whatever I put in the BR, straighten it, then then run Roomba to pick up 5 days' worth of errant meal crumbs that hit the turf.

I'm energized at having my life back and being able to free-roam my house again, unmasked! ❤️

G'morning everyone :)

Got the hot water heater fixed, so I get more than a luke warm shower today. Yay!

@StarSong Congratulations 🎉 👏 What a relief!

@RedAlert76 Please feel free to send some of that rain my way, as well. 😂. We could sure use it here! Hope you are safe from any flooding.

I have to get going to work, but I really really don't want to... I am going to retire next year for sure. I am ready!

Have a great day!

Today along with hubs help hope to move 100’s photos from my iPad to my newish iPad i bought coming up 12 months ago ..that’s only been turned on less than a dozen times ( I use a iPad )

I pay for 50 g of storage on iCloud and I’ve been informed it’s almost full and I need to update my subscription
as I’ve got 9.000 + photos some documents , I honestly don’t need so many photos on the iPad …some are dating back to when we lived and traveled in our caravan for 2 years 2004 ~ 2006 , so the need sorting / deleting and be moved to L T which I can then back up to the external hard drive I keep exclusively for back up of the ..old laptop .

I’ve got my embroidery sewing machine programs on …..that LT runs in XP …OMG ..that dates back to the dinosaurs era :):)…but I can’t update cause my machine programs won’t work on anything higher than XP
( the macine is 26 years old ) so my poor ole outdated other laptop ..is still backed up to prevent me loosing designs / programs for my machine ( Husqvarna )

The Apple subscription is very cheap , $1.40 a month for the 50 g .

I’ll likely end up with a headache at the end of the day ….looking / sorting / transferring photos ect and the Apple photos have a different format , so they may need to be converted to jpeg format

Good day today. Not much pain so no pills. I spent the afternoon spinning a deep turquoise Merino wool and got almost a full bobbin finished. Sooo pretty. Wings for supper.
This is not the wool but a similar one.
I looked at your photo and was worried about your colour perception, until I saw it was a similar one. FB keeps showing me ads for clothing made from Merino wool. I refuse to open the ads but they’ve put the idea in the back of my mind. Happy spinning.

@PeppermintPatty ~ my thoughts are with you & DH! My DH has a very bad back (5 surgeries later) so, I can relate. Sometimes, my back hurts and he says it's sympathy pains. ;)

@Kadee ~ oh my, that skirt is just beautiful!! I haven't worn anything quite so lovely in many many years!
I really wish I had paid more attention in Home Economics, back in the day!!! I can't sew a thing!

My son went home yesterday, very sad for me --- hate that he lives over 1000 miles away --- tho, it could be worse. It was Wonderful spending time with my two boys at the beach last week!!!!!

Glad to hear everyone is doing mostly okay! Happy Tuesday to all!
I was chatting to the couple who run the dance about the ball yesterday,

she said many of the woman are excited about getting dressed up for upcoming ball ..thats is …next Saturday ….
We've not had a ball since well before Covid …. @CaliS

It's just stopped raining. I don't mind if it rains all day because I have decided it's a day of rest and I won't even have to water the plants :)

Had a good couple of days with family and now they have gone off to their respective homes, I have some things I want to catch up on but, nothing that needs to be done straightaway so, hopefully, a stress-free Friday.

Have a good day everyone :)

Staying put inside today , the wind is freezing

11c ~ is about 50 F top temp for today, with the possibility of hail

@Kadee, let me preface this with: other than knowing some areas are prone to extraordinary droughts, I'm woefully ignorant about Australia's weather. AU is big country, so weather likely varies considerably from one region to the next.

Given that, I'm curious about the weather you experience. Is the weather you mentioned above typical for your area or is it rainy season?
