I'm having a delicious coffee and in a bit I'll put on some makeup and take Lucius out for his first walk. I'm anticipating the day will continue to go well from here.

I managed to get some bacon nuked, and fixed a bacon sandwich for
breakfast...then got a load of clothes going now....in between took a''
heavy duty pain pill, and got my knee brace on and heat pad on....so
thats the way of today1!!!!

Just got knocked out of electric, transformer blew I guess, heard this loud bang and poof no
electric. They had it back up in an hour though...nice going Ameren!

added this after posting; got this email from electric company;

Power Restoration Update​ Account Ending: 4167 Service Address: We have restored power in the area of LAKE SHORE DR. The cause of the outage was: Damage from animal. Gee wonder if 2 squirrels were playing hide and seek or here taste this wire?

I’m sick again! i got rebound Covid

I had that recently after a primary bout. It should be short-lived with minor symptoms.

We decided we would go out and treat ourselves to lunch again today ,while we are down in the city for a few days , we are going to same pub we went to about 2 weeks ago .

My poor hubs had 2 appointments at the dentist with a single day spell in between , to be quite honest I hate going once a year, let ~ alone twice in 3 days , then he had a dermatologist appointment to check where he had to have a skin graft after the removal of a basil cell carcinoma, on his lower leg , they can …spread if not removed,
I’ve also had them removed , but it usually involves a visit to have a biopsy to be sure it’s not malignant , then back again to get it removed.

We both visit a skin care doctor twice a year , once in Adelaide ,and again when we go to Queensland each winter.

( Gold Coast ) Queensland…… is Australia’s skin cancer “capital “ due to it being a surfing area ,lots spend hours on the beach or surfing ….just about all year round due to it being a tropical part of Australia

I'm tired today. Heard a loud crash about 3 AM this morning and at first I couldn't figure out what it was. It was an uninvited late night visitor trying to break into the garbage can. I had a bit of difficulty getting back to sleep after that.



Then while taking a drive thru the woods I saw 14 wild turkeys but I didn't have the camera at hand.

But a little later I had to stop to let a buck cross the road. I did get a shot of that guy.
