Just got knocked out of electric, transformer blew I guess, heard this loud bang and poof no
electric. They had it back up in an hour though...nice going Ameren!

Gee wonder if 2 squirrels were playing hide and seek or here taste this wire?
 

We decided we would go out and treat ourselves to lunch again today ,while we are down in the city for a few days , we are going to same pub we went to about 2 weeks ago .

My poor hubs had 2 appointments at the dentist with a single day spell in between , to be quite honest I hate going once a year, let ~ alone twice in 3 days , then he had a dermatologist appointment to check where he had to have a skin graft after the removal of a basil cell carcinoma, on his lower leg , they can …spread if not removed,
I’ve also had them removed , but it usually involves a visit to have a biopsy to be sure it’s not malignant , then back again to get it removed.

We both visit a skin care doctor twice a year , once in Adelaide ,and again when we go to Queensland each winter.

( Gold Coast ) Queensland…… is Australia’s skin cancer “capital “ due to it being a surfing area ,lots spend hours on the beach or surfing ….just about all year round due to it being a tropical part of Australia
 
I'm tired today. Heard a loud crash about 3 AM this morning and at first I couldn't figure out what it was. It was an uninvited late night visitor trying to break into the garbage can. I had a bit of difficulty getting back to sleep after that.

Then while taking a drive thru the woods I saw 14 wild turkeys but I didn't have the camera at hand.

But a little later I had to stop to let a buck cross the road. I did get a shot of that guy.

Good morning, boys and girls. Are we all in our places with bright, shiny faces? I am and feeling gr8. Morning is my best time of day, and to celebrate a lovely Drop morning, I had a second cup of coffee after planting the flowers that I bought yesterday.

It's one of those perfect Drop days with that special color blue sky that's only seen this time of year, and our high temp today will be in the low 70s. Woohoo!

Yesterday was similar with a high of 68. The northwest wind was so strong that I had to wear a light coat and button it up. No wind expected today. Yay. Just heard the furnace come on; maybe it’s not as warm as I thought.
 
I'm good, so far. The day is on track and I'm enjoying it. :)

Yesterday was a lovely day. I did all my "things" and then spent some time with boyfriend over Zoom and later watched a hockey game with husband. Yay, for hockey season! 🏒

My son said he could tell it was hockey season, from his room. :ROFLMAO: I tend to get excited over the games. :ROFLMAO:

I had my flu jab this morning. No side effects yet, not even a sore arm. (y)

I noticed that the supermarket have a new range of Heinz soups on offer - they come in microwaveable pots instead of tins which, might be good for people who have trouble opening tins. I decided to get a couple for the store cupboard, mainly because they had red pepper and tomato soup, I don't like 'cream of ...' soups.

The flu jab and a quick food shop were the highlights of the day because, other than that, I have had a lazy Saturday afternoon and now it's 23:19 so, goodnight everyone :)
 
It looks to be another glorious day here so I'm gonna say I'm glorious;). I have high hopes that the pollen count will be somewhat lower today so that the things that need doing in the garden can get done.

Right now there are lemon/blueberry scones in the oven. While they're baking, I'll get dressed and tidy up a bit.

Good Morning. 🌻

Rough night for me with some pretty severe neck pain. Husband and son will be covering the dog walks today (though I'm still planning on the afternoon one, as long as the Ibuprofen is working.)

It's going to be a weird day with no toning exercises, only one of the dog walks and not counting calories (because I'm eating wheat buns at weird times to protect my stomach from the Ibuprofen.)

Oh well. It's better this morning than it was last night so I'm on the mend already. :)

I'm going to chill today, play Animal Crossing and watching a Marvel movie with boyfriend.

It was quite windy yesterday but it's settled down to a light breeze. We took the cover off the pool when the wind started kicking because strong winds can tear up the cover.

Possibility of rain on Monday and 100% likelihood of rain Tuesday (Yippee!) so we'll leave the cover off for the next few days, perhaps longer.

DD and fam are coming over early this afternoon so it should be a very nice day.
