Oh, GG, I'm so sorry to read this - I know how stressful it is to be at odds with my kids, even if it's only for a short time.

I'm having an afternoon coffee, which is just freaking glorious, and looking forward to watching some hockey with husband later.

I'm a little nervous. Every time my neighbor comes home lately she makes a racket for a few hours. I have my sound machine turned up and some music playing. I hope it will help me to divert my attention when she starts up. It's awful here!

It's nearly half past midnight and I am still up but, not for much longer.

It's been a very productive day and, as well as getting a lot of chores done, we had a local tradesman come in to sort out a couple of repairs we wanted done, his charges are a little bit expensive but, he was highly recommended and did a really good job so, well worth it.

@Pepper I hope you are recovering well from your operations and look forward to seeing you posting again when you feel well enough. Take care of yourself

I am up and waiting to see if the weather is going to cooperate and make cleaning
my neighbors leaves out of the backside of her house a "Go for it!" kind of day.
I want the movement and fresh air so I sure hope so. I have a need to caress that

I was up so I did things. Went to Publix with DD. That store has high prices, but if you get the BOGOs and clip the coupons...inexpensive. Cheaper than Kroger but not as cheap as Aldi. Anyway, with the coupons and BOGOs, we spent $130. Otherwise, it would've been more than $200.

@IrishEyes I wanna do the leaf blower thing, too, but ours died. DSIL has been fiddling with it but hasn't figured out the problem yet. Drat.

Still chilly and very cloudy so I may have to hug my dog instead. Probably good it doesn't look doable as Oscar seems to be getting worse
again. Vet appt Monday, they were too booked today. Everything happens for a reason, as it is said. Hope you can get yours going or

It's a good day. The morning dog walk was pleasant enough. I got to see husband for a bit before walking with him to work and we'll watch another hockey game tonight. Boyfriend's and my schedules are not meshing today so I'll catch him later tonight.

DH and I are at a casino, he's gambling and I am watching the sun set. Had a nice dinner. It's been a good day
