Doing ok here. Stayed over at work the past couple nights cuz of the weather but home and happy now. Still dangerously cold here. I'm tucked away in the house with no plans.

We're doing fine as well, I'm thankful to say. Power is on and no one has to go anywhere.

I'm going to play some Animal Crossing in a few minutes, but today I really should clean up the area around my desk; there are remnants of craft projects, sewing projects, spell stuff, and other misc. everywhere.

well, dang

my daughter (in N. GA with ice everywhere) texted me this AM to say she fell on the ice and she thinks she fractured her leg She was an ER nurse for years, so she's doing everything she can at home since the roads are still pretty much impassible and urgent care is closed. No electricity at this time but they have heat.

She hopes to get to an orthopedic MD tomorrow... time will tell if I am making a trip north this week to help with the girls or not.

Did I pray for patience or to have my character built up? Lol...

I know she's a resourceful, strong woman and will be ok. It's just hard to be so far and not be able to help

Sorry this happened, Cinnamon and hope she is able to get medical attention soon. Yeesh, of all the times. :/

I pretty much put everything for the rest of the week on hold, just in case

Though I’ve heard references to this system I’ve never seen it in Canada. Do you still the tube system.

I no longer work, haven't for a number of years so I don't know if the hospital is still using it. Both the local bank and credit union do have them at the drive-thru teller windows; I do use those.

It's cold. There's a post on a neighborhood app on my phone from a mommy complaining because "It's ridiculous to expect my child to go to school when the temp is 15F." Awwww. Solution: keep your darling child at home.

Gonna be cold, sunny and windy today. I'm done with winter Fifty-two days until spring.

Good to know. As it happens, I have a few Ring Dings tucked away in the kegerator. (Can't get them here so I stock up when I or a family member visits the east coast.) I LOVE Ring Dings!
