This is my 3rd day after falling, and it is absolutely the worst. I am in utter agony, so I will stay as quiet as possible.

I feel your pain, @Lewkat. I badly bruised some ribs awhile back and was very sore for a couple of weeks, then less sore — but still noticeably so — for another month.

Hubby took off for Arizona this morning, so I have 3.5 days alone - but not really. Planning to hang out with my son tomorrow and my old friend from high school on Saturday, if she can work me into her plans. Aside from going to bed at night with just me and the cat, hopefully I will not miss him tooooo much.

OMG! You are a genius! That's it exactly - weather menopause - I am suffering from it as we speak!

One day the sun is out, my coat discarded and I am flaunting my Spring self to the elements and the next day, the heating is on, I am wrapped in fleecey joggers and hoodie and woolly socks!
