How are you today?

Yesterday was not one I liked much. The strong dizziness has come back.
I began the head/eye exercises that helped me last time before it advances
to the falling backwards when getting out of bed.
I guess I had some crystal fall off of those balance sensors again and
heading for my ear canal. May take a few days to get balance back.

I had that happen with a new prescription and I wouldn't wish it on anybody. Heres hoping you can get it under control. And keep it that way.

No joy in Mudville.

Friday I have pre-op consult with my former cardiologist in Brooklyn. Two neighborhoods from where I live. I know I’d rather go home afterwards. But to what? I can’t escape from my health problems no matter how much I try to wish them away. So I guess I’ll be going back to the rehab afterwards. I know my heart will break being so close to my real home.

There is talk about me not having surgery on Monday. I hope it’s not true. This time it must happen. It must! It must be successful for me not to lose my leg.

Can’t stand the thought of The Mighty Pepper striking out.

Hard day. Overwhelmingly sad.

Hoping for the best for you, Pepper. I'm sure all the others join me.

I just got out of an overnight sleep study at a sleep lab.

Sleep? Ha!

Bed like a slab of concrete. Wired up like the Bride of Frankenstein. No way to find a comfortable position.

I guess I slept some but not much.

Now, I have to get in a hot shower and let the hot water run over my head for five minutes before I try to shampoo the glue out of my hair from the electrodes on my scalp. I had a test back in '09, but didn't get the head doo-hinkies.

Then, I'm going to take a nap....a real one...a long one.
i hate that they expect you to sleep like that. here if you move around they get on the speaker & want to know what's wrong or why you're moving. they made me so mad especially the one gal i finally told them i couldn't sleep in these conditions and wanted to leave. they got mad at me. wasn't my fault.

:ROFLMAO: I am laughing with you!

Bless your heart - not fun! I'm sorry, but your descriptions made me laugh out loud!

Good morning. Another lovely spring day, except for the pollen. Yellow :poop: everdamnwhere.

When DS visits, we usually sit on the patio to eat lunch, but I dunno if that'll happen this time because there's so much pollen. When the wind blows, there are "clouds" of the stuff blowing around. Ugh.

Gotta make meatballs for the meatball subs and going to make some choc chip cookies in case anybody wants dessert. It's laundry day, too, so I'd better get started.

Y'all behave. BBL.

Are there other brands? I’ve been considering a Tens but feel the cost for the refill pads might be more than the unit eventually.
well the reusable ones i can get about 5 uses out of. a package of 40 on amazon isn't that bad. it's likely cheaper than the one time use ones but i couldn't find any one time use. the units on amazon are like $30 so yes the pads will be more but the relief will be worth it. Most of the pads are ok but some are a bit more stubborn. i use mine twice a day for my hands for those trigger fingers otherwise they just hurt all the time.

i was hoping i could get both hands done at once but they splint it for the first week and then after that you can't even lift a pound or put any pressure on it so some of the stuff that requires two hands would be a problem. at least the tens unit helps.

Another sunny day with a high pollen count. Achoo! High temp today predicted to be 85F, then a cold front moving through tonight with a low temp of 46F, high tomorrow of 67F. See-saw weather. Literally blowing hot and cold.

Lunch with my "boys" yesterday was nice. Meatball subs were a hit, choc chip cookies well received. I sent the rest of the cookies home with them.

There's a trip to Aldi in the cards today because I ate the last of the gelato last night. Ack! Life without gelato is unthinkable.
