How are you today?

Good morning, SF peeps! I'm feeling good today. Great mood and the house is delightfully cool this morning. The big fan worked all night bringing in outdoor air... the overnight low was a lovely 57°. I'm so grateful for our open-to-the-sky (indoor) atrium. The house was 79° when I went to bed and 66° when I woke up, no AC needed!

What a difference that fan and atrium make in comfort and power bills during warm weather.

I've got a slamma-jammed several days ahead (business stuff), but since UPS isn't slated to deliver until noon at the earliest, I can hang out with y'all for a while, guilt free! So here I am, just finished my first cuppa coffee and about to fix my second.

Hope all have a good day!

Chatted with my doctor for part 1 of my annual physical. The timing messed up my morning walk. Maybe that’s a good thing because I wouldn’t have dressed for the cool wind. I had predicted hot earlier. It’s not too far to the mailbox so I didn’t freeze, though I did cool off.

Sadly, I've been watching / reading a lot about the poor Beagles at Ridglan Farms in Wisconsin. It just breaks my heart to see how sad and scared those innocent doggies are... I don't understand how people can be SO cruel just to make money.

🙏 I hope they all get rescued and find loving homes.

@Kaila There are at least a dozen azaleas and in all colors. We bought them years ago at the end of blooming season when they were marked down to $1 each! Imagine. One. Dollar.
Wow. What a bargain. And they are still delivering impressive displays, wonderfully!
Made even more enjoyable, each year, as you see them bloom, by your memories of what they cost. 😊😁
Oh, I mean what they didn'tcost. 😄

Morning all friends!!! sunny as heck out there, 59F going to 80F later
with small chance of rain late...Aches and pains a little above moderate

No major plans for today, just wing it like usual. Got some bills to pay

Up a little before 6am today because I wanted some SF time before going to work. Big blessing - a very short commute since I work from home.

Time for breakfast and then I'll be juggling business stuff. After that, on a completely separate front, DH and will sort out some minor swimming pool prep before swim season is upon us.

Hope all have a great day!

I didn't get up until 8 and baked a biscuit, sausage, egg and cheese casserole that I put together and refrigerated last night. Surprise. It tasted just like sausage, egg and cheese biscuits. The difference is that it's eaten with a fork. It's also easier to put together than 8 biscuits.

We went to Aldi. I dunno what DD and DGD bought, but I laid in my week's supply of gelato.

I got some of that stuff from Home Depot that kills the weeds but not the lawn. So far, the weeds have been winning, and it ticks me off.

What's left of the lawn is gonna get mowed this afternoon.

Now I'm gonna rest.
