I recently noticed that when I am scrolling I can see many other people responded to a person's post but I cannot see what they posted. Does that mean they blocked me?

Yes but I haven’t noticed much drama of the type that would bring that on.
It's called putting them on "Ignore." You can see what people in a thread post if you click on "show ignored content." That is only for those you have Ignored, though. I'm not sure how that works for people who have put you on Ignore, though. I'm not sure now about this.

I'd ask the admin here. Can you PM the admin? I think you can. If you block someone, you don't see their post. You do see if someone quoted them that they are being ignored by you but not what they wrote. Whatever that exact terminology is. I don't know if it works in reverse.

No, that would mean you blocked them. Unless they deleted their message.
Try scrolling up until you find that person's post.
I think if you click on the user name in the quoted part, you can find the post without scrolling. I never used the ignore feature, can easily do it on my own.

I hope I didn't make a mistake and put them on ignore. No one has annoyed me enough to block them or put them on ignore.

How can you tell if someone has blocked you, if they have erected a fortress and told you they lost the key, might indicate your presence is no longer wanted. On the bright side, their absence may kindle new friendships, only this time ask for the key to the kingdom before they lose it.

To check whether you've put someone on Ignore:
- click on your avatar/username at the right of the top blue bar
- click on Ignoring

I'm not sure you can, definitively, but maybe if you notice they seem not to be aware of/respond to any of your posts?
You can log out and check if their post is visible to you when you are logged out but not visible when you are logged in.
Or, some forums will show a message if you try to send them a private message or friends request to a user that has you on ignore.

You can't tell if someone has blocked you..because their posts will be visible to you.. but your posts won't be visible to them, and you won't know unless they've told you...
Other than that if you address them directly on the forum or by PM , and you get no reply, then you probably could correctly guess you've been blocked..

It's pretty obvious when someone blocks you. They will typically throw a shoulder into your body stopping or changing your forward momentum. It can easily escalate into a physical altercation or in a worse case scenario an actual brawl or even full blown riot
