On a scale of 1 to 10 (1= al dente to the max, 10 = one step this side of mush), to what point in cooking do you prefer your pasta?
I'll go with 1-9. I really like pasta and would hate a little over or under to deprive me of a taste treat.
However long the package says to cook plus 3 minutes.
That sounds like a 10.
That's the problem with pasta. Only a large steel bowl will do.I really don't know
Not much on pasta
The exception is a flat noodle in cream sauce
I could eat a large steel mixing bowl of it
