How cooked do you like your pasta?

I'd say around a 3, close to al dente for me and my husband. I usually make whole wheat spaghetti and 13 min. is just about right every time.

I like it about a 7 I don't like it al dente at all... but I don't like it mushy, so if I'm cooking spaghetti I cook it for about 2 minutes longer than the instruction says

I cook pasta a couple minutes less than the package instructions so maybe 4-6 on the scale.

I also prefer Barilla pasta, I think that the leftover pasta holds up better on day 2 or 3.

I really don't know
Not much on pasta
The exception is a flat noodle in cream sauce

I could eat a large steel mixing bowl of it
(I've proven this)

1 to 10?

whatever number that's between blind eel and leather shoe laces

That's the problem with pasta. Only a large steel bowl will do.:)

Spaghetti is NOT the ONLY pasta. It comes in a variety of shapes; long, shells, twists etc.

Some shapes take longer than others to attain the desired degree of tenderness.

Keep a record of how you like it.
