The vast majority of adult Canadians use a debit card with the "tap feature " to pay for all their daily purchases. I have been thinking about what places do we still use coins or bills ? In my day to day, the only place that I might use coins is at the coin operated car wash. It accepts two dollar coins and $ 4 is the usual price to soap, spray and rinse our little car. AS for currency bills......I can't remember the last time I HAD to use any. By using a debit card I know that I can pay anywhere, for anything. JimB.
