How do you change your Browser?

I asked Dell if I could buy a new computer without it, or if it could be removed. They said no, that there were things in Windows that would not work without it. Seems like a not too subtle way for Microsoft to push it's browser. I've never really tried it, I've always liked Google and do not appreciate how Microsoft tries to pressure folks into using edge.
