I usually eat it at home, then I put it in a bowl. Usually, I pour some topping (chocolate or strawberry syrup) on it;
Hang on, I'm not finished yet. THEN I sprinkle dry roasted peanuts all over the top.
Well, You asked.
you have drive in ice creame palours.Love it.Vanilla, chocolate twist at Del's Drive-in. Melbourne, Fl.......yummy.
I loved "Ice Milk" Janice, as a kid, but thought it was discontinued! Are you saying I can find some somewhere? It's much colder than ice-cream, not as rich made with skim milk I think), not as frothy, not as fattening.
I have no self-control with icecream so I had an epiphany. Those cheap cake cones you see everywhere are only 20 calories and mostly air (not sugar cones, not waffle cones). So I allow myself to fill it as full as I want and tell myself when it's over it's over. It also satisfies my craving for something crunchy (the cone). That helps me a lot with self-control.
Sounds good to me Falcon! However I put mine in a bowl by itself. Blue Bell Mexican Praline is my favorite but they are not making right now so I have to settle for Pralines and crème.I usually eat it at home, then I put it in a bowl. I'm still arguing with a neighbor who insists frozen custard and soft serve are two different products. I said unless it's ice milk (like Foster Freeze), they're the same thing. Anybody have an opinion?
I'm with your neighbor - frozen custard includes eggs in the recipe, soft serve ice cream does not.

In a cone sometimes but in a bowl mostly.
As a pup living in Wisconsin I recall my mom giving me a big pot and telling me to go outside and tightly fill it with clean snow......she'd then mix vanilla and a little milk with it and we'd have 'Snow Cream'
Anyone else had or remember snow cream ?View attachment 41582
Proceed with caution: Recipe for Elastic Turkish Ice-Cream https://www.giverecipe.com/elastic-turkish-ice-cream/...I wish there was someplace to get Turkish ice cream here in the states. I don't know what they put in their ice cream (and I probably don't WANT to know....) but it almost needs to be chewed, it's so thick. Maybe a lot of something like guar gum? I had goat milk ice cream in Spain and that was pretty damned fine, too. Tasted almost like cream cheese.
