How do you feel about being the unknowing star on all these surveillance cameras?

Somebody used to let their dog poop on my lawn and not clean it up. That hasn't occurred since I put up security cameras. :ROFLMAO:

I intentionally bought cameras that look like traditional surveillance cameras rather than the dome type. I figured it was a better deterrent if it was obvious that people were being surveilled, and I think I was right.
Yes, same here, but I didn't think about it - I just said I wanted cameras, and fortunately he used the traditional kind.

I have stickers on exterior doors that say "This property under 24 hour video surveillance protection." The installer told me the notice is required by law to be posted on the doors. I don't know it that's true, and I don't care - the stickers may be one extra step to deter criminals.
That might have to do with 'hey, you're filming me without my consent', maybe? I don't know, just guessing.

Anyhow, I don't even think about them. I live a clean life, so if you want to film me looking at angel hair pasta in aisle nine, have at it.

I do agree with @Aunt Bea , it doesn't hurt me, but it might help someone else. Very sound reasoning.
