Are you a visual thinker? An audial thinker? Other type of thinker? Logistic?

I think " in pictures " and always have so I'm a visual thinker. I problem solve in picures and "see" everything to work a problem out. It's a boon to puzzle solvers to be a visual thinker.

I talk to myself when I think, so I guess I'm what you're referring to as an audial thinker. While in school, I always absorbed information best from lectures as opposed to demonstrations, which seems to me would support that characterization. I am good at puzzle-solving (maybe because I am also very analytical), but not when the puzzle is geometric or one of those illusion things. Give me a puzzle that has to do with words or making something work and I'm golden. Hand me one where you have to figure out if you're looking at an open cube that faces left, right, up, or down and I'm going to hand it right back to you.
 
Think? Gave that up when I left work.

Deepest thought now is shall I have toast or an egg for breakfast (usually find it too difficult and have both!)?
 

I generally employ integrative thinking - combining intuition, reason and imagination. This can also include the visual and audio aspects of thought.
 
I think in words....constantly. I sometimes feel like I would be better off if it would all stop, but then where would I be? Maybe just one voice at a time would be better- yes?

When I walk my dogs I sometimes attempt to be "in the moment" and avoid thinking and processing and compiling data, and just feel the sunlight on my back, the breeze on my face, and the sounds of my dogs footsteps and their breathing. I listen to my dogs thoughts/feelings, very basic, very now.

I am terrible with following directions even step by step. If it's a project that requires measuring and mechanics my son gets it. I'll look at the box and parts and put it together otherwise. Except puzzles, even twelve piece and I'm helpless.
 
I never stop talking to myself. A large part of it is "You stupid.." or "What did you do that for?". I spend a lot of time thinking about why the world is as it is. Probably way too much. Always have. I don't tend to think in pictures, but I have an excellent ability to visualize when needed. I can construct things in my head very well. Thinking is not that simplistic though. Neuro science is making huge leaps ahead. One of the things that interest me the most these days.
 
Being an artist I am a visual thinker.. Thank goodness cause I know when I hear lyrics to songs I always hear them wrong.."I'll never leave your pizza burning" instead of "I'll never be your beast of burden"

Yes that is what I thought the song lyrics said o_O so audio not for me lol..
