I don't blame you. That can ruin peoples lives and it's evil that people can do it so casually. My wife and I were getting groceries. I asked an employee if the tattoo on her arm was new.....I did not touch her but she went to her supervisor and claimed I touched her inappropriately. I was devastated by her accusation, and thought it best not to go into the store again for a while. Finally my wife and I returned to the store for groceries and I got some dirty looks from several employees. I spoke to the manager pointing out the one's giving me a hard time, now I don't speak to anyone while I shop for groceries and we buy our groceries through electronic checkout so I don't have to speak to anyone on a register.
It is sad that someone mistook my friendly behavior and turned it into a perverted act of inappropriate touching. It really shook me up to be accused of such degradation.
