As an adolescent my dad cut mine and brothers hair very short. My early Teen years I was allowed to grow my hair longer upon parental approval. I was still in high school and living at home. In the early 70s most guys sported a mustache and I was no exception. I grew a faint beard once, but it itched terribly and I shaved it off. In the 1990s I had my blond hair dyed red and had my hair put into corn-rolls and my hair has been permed a couple of times.
I've had my head shaven, my hair feathered and of course the famous mullet look of the 70s & 80s. Now I'm growing out the layers and tucking it behind my ears. The season's of life are like sands in an hourglass. Dear God, please flip me over, this side is almost done.
