'summer's here and its smoken too! Air quality is fairly poor now for a couple of weeks.
I spent the afternoon cleaning pre filters and changing air filters in the air quality stuff in the home.

Excellent question, but I don’t have access to other people’s current states or responses, unless they're part of this conversation …Or they’ve accidentally butt-dialed their emotional state into the group chat. In that case, Steve is “confused but optimistic,” Karen is “existentially screaming into a coffee mug,” and I think Joel just replied with a *.GIF of a raccoon stealing pizza. So … vibes are mixed.
what all my thoughts from the naughty to the good?
i often smile and sometimes even laugh at seeing this great kaleidoscope of humanity here describing their habitats and emotions and behaviors all from different points of the globe and inner shores of their own abodes!! - I think I can only half understanding your lifestyles and sometimes the prices frighten me. I live in the middle of a small forest with my new daug. He keeps wanting to run away so he's on a long very long lead outdoors! I was once a member on a UK forum and we had quite a few other Europeans joining and that was interesting to hear about their lifestyles - I suppose the common ground is always comfort safety ; sufficient funds and good health and of course good families??

Tough times here. Mum is now in the local Hospice. Lovely place and lovely people. But it is what it is. Spending most of every day sat at her bedside and most of every night lying awake in mine.

That tough time spent at your Mum's side is something that you'll carry with you when she's gone. To be a good son is to be a good man, I say.
Does she have insomnia? Can you talk to the doctor about it? Lack of sleep may trigger a lot of physical and psychological problems.
I'm sorry you are having to go through this. I did, too, 20 some years ago. I know how tough it is . You are a good person to be there with/for her.

No she's sleeping most of the day and all night - thankfully.
