A tiny baby bird has the ability to turn the house upside down.

My 6 y/o grandson instantaneously fell in love with the baby bird and hopefully will not love it to death. My daughter, who is an RN nurse,
is feeding the baby. Otherwise no one but my grandson is permitted to touch it. Will my grandson ever go home without the baby bird?

Because of the color, I think it's a sparrow; but my two daughters insist that it is a dove because of its size. Big debate about what to feed it, depending on what kind of bird it is. I stick to mealworms, but my daughter is feeding it a mixture of oatmeal, soymilk, eggs, and whatever.

Left: Cleaning up bird poop. Right: When they left, my daughter saw a dove cooing where the baby had fallen down below
the Palm tree. Now we leave the baby at that spot, and hopefully the mom will start again feeding its baby. I'll do it anyway.

My son and I had appointments with our glaucoma specialist this morning. Visual field tests were performed, pictures of the back of our eyes were taken and of course our eye pressures were checked. Thank God my son's pressures we're down to an excellent level. Mine always are. Only thing is she wants me to maintain a fixed schedule of putting in my drops rather than doing it willy-nilly based on my odd sleep/wake schedule.

Our visual fields and the pictures show no changes which means our vision is stable (my blind spots have not gotten worse) and diabetes is not compromising our optic nerves. Next appointment in 4 months instead of 3. I felt tired all day so did a lot of napping.

G'morning folks ..it's almost 5am.., still dark......

It's forecast to be very sunny and warm today, so I'm hoping I can get out for a while.....

Unbelievably I'm still not 100 % well, and during the night I was just coughing , and coughing... but anyway fingers crossed I can go and have a little bit of nice day out today :giggle:

It's going to be a long day.
Foolishly, I agreed to wait in and receive a parcel for a neighbour, then two other neighbours hearing the converstion caught me unawares by asking to take parcels in for them also.
I don't have any plans to go anywhere, but have to be close to the front door (front room) to hear the bell. Nightmare scenario is being on the loo when a courier arrives. 😊

One of the felines woke me in the wee hours but that allowed me to start my day sooner than expected. :) I have finished a load of laundry and am waiting on another to dry. Trying to decide if this evening's meal will be crockpot, slow cooker or air fried. I need to make a decision soon so I can set out whatever meat I need to thaw. Someone make up my mind for me!
:ROFLMAO:

Helping out yesterday and today with DD's laundry because she's too sick to do it. So far two loads washed, dried and folded. There's another load in the dryer right now.

Gotta get dressed and get going in the garden. Things to do.

It's gonna be very warm today, warmer tomorrow, 90-ish Thursday thru Saturday, then back down into the 70s for a week. YoYo. Geez. It's time for Mother Nature to make up her mind.

After the rain early yesterday evening, it was so nice to go out and not have everything covered by pollen. This morning I went out with my coffee, and that darned stuff is already back in force. Chihuahua!

@Who_so_ever Yeah. Felines have a way of doing that🐱. They especially have a way of doing that when you really need/want to sleep.

@NotCompSavy has fallen down on the job in the mentoring department. Anybody wanna volunteer instead? I need to be uplifted and encouraged...just as soon as we decide what to mentor me about. Hint: not plumbing, fish tank or comedy, as suggested by @NotCompSavy.

Good Morning, Everyone 🤗 :coffee: 🌻

The thing my husband is now just starting to get over seems to be gaining on me. My system has been throwing it off for days, but last night and today, not so much. 🤒 Husband and I are sharing a bag of lozenges.

I've been really caught up in Animal Crossing, again, lately and that's been fun.

Had therapy yesterday, which went very well.

Hope everyone is feeling good.
