an update about Katie, Zach &Xavier's visit with me for lunch at 12:15
Xavier was a big hit with other residents in the cafe,luckily it wasn't crowded.He was walking around the tables, looking out the window saw a robin was fascinated He sat on my lap for a couple of minutes,Katie asked him what does a cow say' moooo', had such a sweet smile a lovely visit

Well we've finally got proper rain, and it's forecast to be on for the whole day which is good news....temps around 60 deg f

I have the ubiquitous heat pad behind my back this mornig to relax the muscles... but for the rest of the day I'm doing as little as possible.. I seem to have been on the go one way or another for a couple of weeks now, and I feel pretty weary tbh.. so I want to be in full fettle for my drive up country on My birthday on Thursday to meet up with my daughter and our joint celebrations

I opened the side gate so the delivery driver could get it up the side of the house.. because I wouldn't be able to lift it..and I had to go and get my sack barrow, to get it up to the barn...

I bought the mower 2 days ago.. for a reduced price ..box damaged.. but mower untouched.. and got £10 off the full price for that .. I've just looked at it online again.. and they've dropped it another £10 less than I paid for it ... for an undamaged box.. ..that's very annoying..

Morning all folks!!! Slept fairly well, 45deg outside, heading
into mid 70's today, no rain exp....lawn guy called yest eve and
said he'd be here today...mostly I did zip yesterday, and got
the same plan for today LOL....usual aches and pains and some
new stuff LOL...;):cool::coffee::love:
 
Good morning. It's not going to be as warm today as yesterday. Fine by me. It was 87F yesterday.

There are a few things to get done in the garden like lopping some dead limbs off a tree and weeding, but right now I'm not feeling it. Maybe later. I don't even feel like going to the garden center(s).

@hawkdon Do your raccoons ever come to visit anymore?

@hollydolly I'm going to invent a heating pad that goes wherever you go. It would have a sensor and move itself to wherever the pain is. It would also be invisible under your clothes. You're welcome;)

Yesterday DS was ready to buy a super computer (that is, not a super computer, but a supercomputer) for his business. He had it all spec'd out and hit the submit tab. Came back "Sold Out." So he started looking around the web...the only other ones exactly like it were priced $1000 more. You read that right. One. Thousand. Dollars. He didn't buy.

I have not seen any 'coons, but they are prob still around...on the other hand I do see biscuits aand sausage gravy cooking
on the stove right now!!!! better git here quick!!!!
 
I have had a bad start to the day with late delivery from store, shopper packed things in two paper bags, so had to take them out individually to carry into house. I dropped two containers of whip cream. I hope they were not damaged when I go to use them.

I took out some old things from the cupboard for garbage pickup but husband after many months asked about a can of nuts I threw out and didn't remember he didn't want them. I convinced him that I would not go retrieve them from the garbage. I hope he doesn't remember other items I threw out. It seems we collect junk.
 
In my "hands" photo prompt yesterday, I captured some of the older ladies from church sewing their quilts.
