Well..what a horrible day weather wise... Hailstones, rain .. the whole 9 yards....

Can you believe this..I went to see the gP this morning.. I'm used to seeing different doctors now, so warning bells didn't ring...

He called me in and I said ''Doctor''..he said no I'm not a doctor I'm a paramedic...
I'm taken aback by this, but I think, ok..whatever.. and I tell him what's wrong with me... remember I have waited weeks for this appointment...and he says ''...Oh I don't know what's causing it, you need to see a doctor''..:eek::eek:
I am so sorry this happened to you. ❤️

Today we are having a family reunion with my husband's cousins in Orlando. We will be a minimum of 10 people, perhaps even more if the children come as well.
I am looking forward to it. We have not seen them for a long time.
The weather is sunny and warmer than it has been in these past days so it will be quite pleasant.
I am not looking forward to the ride. I dislike car ride and crazy highways!😁
Have a great time @Rossana !🥳

I've been thinking (even though I'm not paid to) about how annoying it is that I go outside to work in the garden and have to stop after just a little while. I can only work for about 20-30 minutes, then have to take a break for another 10 before resuming. And in total, I can't work for more than about two hours. That's now while the weather is cool. When summer comes...

This old stuff is getting old

We had a great time at our family reunion. We ended up by being 16 people all together. (Three generations!) We laughed and enjoyed memories together. We promised each other not to let so much time go by without seeing each other again.

Today, it is raining. This morning, we helped out one of our neighbors. She is alone and going through a rough time.
This afternoon, we will be resting and catching on our streaming new episodes!

Been to the garden center to get seed-starter stuff, and it's all planted, watered, covered and sitting on the patio table to take advantage of the warm sun. I'll bring them in this evening and put them back out tomorrow.

The leaf blower has been put away until tomorrow, too. I'm tired. It's going to be an afternoon of rest, maybe even a nap.
This sounds like fun.
I usually do my starts at the Spring Equinox, but may start early this year to blow winter away as soon as possible.
...or I'll wait till the equinox; I can't make decisions today.
Your planting starts is cheery news. :)

@Medusa...first of all, what's with the normal hair? Where are your snakes? ;)

Our growing season here is long and usually starts mid-March/early April, so my seeds should be big enough to plant in six weeks or so. There are cleome and purple cone flowers because some taller flowers are needed at the back of the garden.

I don't deadhead the cone flowers because the seed heads are popular with birds when the growing season is over (not until late October).

I know, right? Just sleeping in this picture, which is about six months old now. Right now, my hair is blue with brown ends so I'm looking more Medusa-like.

I've never deadheaded a flower, largely because I don't know how. :/ lol

I am going to be planting some veggies, herbs and Clematis flowers this season. I like the way the Clematis flowers cling and climb. We enjoy Morning Glory flowers, that crept over from the neighbor's, which will look nice with the climbing Clematis.

We have also a small lemon tree, in a large pot, which we have been keeping alive by bringing it in during the cold seasons. It has no business being in this region, but it's hanging in there.

I looked up the flowers you are planting and they are both pretty. :) The purple cone flowers remind me of Black Eyed Susans, which I love.

TGS came yesterday. Had a great day with him, as always. I love toddlers and three is an adorable age.

I just put a load of laundry in the washer, am doing a few chores around the house (Is housework EVER done?), will go for a walk in a little while, and need to do a quick Walmart pickup when they text me that my order is ready. After that, I plan to settle down with a good book. Busy Sunday, kicked-back Monday.

Hope all have a great day!

I noticed the same thing today. Getting a little more winded than last time I got in the garden.
We just need to get back in garden shape. 🌱

That's fine. I'm so small scrawny that when I stand sideways, nobody knows I'm there. Geez, I have to jump around in the shower to get wet.
oh it'll be fine for you Gigi..I'm just thinking anyone who is bigger and reading this should know that it's quite narrow when you're squeezed between the two handles .The good thing is, it's very lightweight... and strong...

I had a great day today because the weather is getting warmer and I'm beginning to feel like spring. I unpacked my tee shirts this evening. People didn't wear jackets today - a sure sign spring is coming.
I'm like Goldilocks as do not like it to hot nor to cold , I'm in Miami and nice now but come May to Dec its brutal heat and do like gardening , etc .

I do plan to move and now considering Hawaii as climate to my liking but do I dare make such a drastic move . I was originally looking at N.C .
