My dd who is a super influencer, managed to get me some officaldom sorted out but then she was 45 minutes on the phone explaining the ins and outs, and the wheres and what fors, that I needed to know...

She has no mobile phone signal in her house, so she has to ring from her shed which is the only place she can get a signal , so every time I started to speak she said..ssssh... just listen mum.. because I'm standing out here in the shed, and I want to be quick... ..so I barely get a word in when she rings from home.

Usually she rings twice a week, but she rings in her lunch hour from work, so she has a much better line there...

Since the divorce became final and the official financial order was made just a week ago...lots of things have to be changed and some are in the process. It's all slightly overwhelming... but DD has been a great help...

At some point I have to go to Spain to oversee the selling of our house... :(:(

Well. We were at the project house and discovered a broken sewer pipe. Old galvanized iron…doesn’t last forever. So the conundrum is always whether to patch and bury…or fix. Legally you are supposed to disclose all these little things you know about when you sell. So. The guy who is going to fix it is charging me 6500$. Yep…got that going for me…
 
Oh, I see Holly, we have hardline Telephone connections here with Router internet,
Cellular +Wi-Fi internet. 2 separate AT&T telephone hard connections.
I was thinking of a hardline connection from Spain. I not sure of international Cell connections,
I don't do. ... :) ...

she doesn't have a landline at her house, only her cellphone....so she has to search for a signal to make a call... and the only place is in her shed in the garden... if she moves from there the signal drops out....

Why are things so behind times in urbanized areas? We have far northern remote communities that have better service.

I don't know tbh... it's strange, because altho' she lives in a small village it's not remote... and it's on fenland so it's flat land for miles not blocked by hills or mountains, so it's weird....

I sometimes wonder if it's the supplier.. because here at my house there's no problem with signal... but the gas engineer last week was trying to call his company and try as he might, even going out up to the end of the garden couldn't get a signal.. very odd..
 
Good morning GrayGang!!!! Welp, my head feels lighter after
the haircut lady came by yest evening, love it.....felt okay today
till I went outside, whooee, 70% humid, plus pollen, could barely breath when I came in from sweeping 12 foot of
sidewalk!!! No big plans for the day yet, just putz around in
this home.....be good now and take care of each other!!!! :love::cool::devilish:
 
We have 70 % humidity today as well Hawkie.... I just spent 40 minutes in the garden pulling up all the weeds in the borders.... and cutting back the regrowth of Holly around the tree stump where I had the whole Holly tree chopped down 3 years ago... and by the time I'd finished I was soaked, I had to get in the shower,,,🥵

Wow! You have a lot going on, @hollydolly! I wish you the best of luck with the changes. Sorry that you have to sell your house in Spain.

IMG_0975.jpegI have noticed lost of trees with leaves bugger 5G some.
I don't think 5G is as good as 3 - 4 G LTE was reception wise rural. The Phone can tie in to internet for better stuff but I haven't done that.
The Lil woman had VPN for her job from home now VoiP services.
