Another hot one and the rain chance just dropped to nothing. Looking for 97 next two days maybe. But I went to my first of 12 visits for acupuncture this morning. Supposed to help me with my incontinence. 30 minutes with a small needle in my ankle with an electrical impulse going into it......My urology dept. has a lady doing it.
 
~Took care of some estate planning and financial matters.

~Attempted a tele-visit with my endocrinologist via Zoom, but that didn’t work, so she called instead. She’s pleased with my at-home testing and bloodwork
.~Catching up with some Facebook and SF posts.
 

sETTING HERE WITH BRAIN FOG TODAY, CAN SEEM TO KEEP
THE GRAY CELLS IN LINE, THEY SCATTER EVERYWHERE THIS
MORNING...GOT ONE LOAD OF LAUNDRY TO DO, A FEW
DISHES, THEN START ALL OVER AGAIN....HOT AS HADES AND
VERY HUMID, ALL MAKE FOR DIFFICULTY BREATHING....BUT STILL, GOD GAVE ME THIS DAY SO WILL SEE WHAT GOOD I CAN DO WITH IT.....;):love::coffee::giggle:
 
well they say that it's 76 deg F right now...I'm here to say I don't believe that. I've just spent 40 minutes in the garden, weeding, cutting back the Ivy and shoveling earth... I didn't put any SPF on because I always like to be in the sun for at least 20 mins to get the daily dose of Vit D.... and then I'll put the SPF on... well.. I was only out there probably 15 minutes and I could feel my arms burning... and its Verrry hot... 🥵
 
I AM SORE IN MY LEGS FOR UNKNOWN REASONS, SO MY
MOVEMENT IS SLOW AND EASY TODAY, GOT LESS ENERGY
THAN THE ENERGIZER RABBIT FOR SURE....I SEEM TO BE
DROPPING MORE AND MORE LITTLE ITEMS, WHICH OF
COURSE CAUSES ME TO BEND OVER TO PICK IT UP.....VVERY SHAKEY TODAY ALSO...OKAY THERE I VENTED FOR TODAY, ENUFF...... :love:

When I was a kid, it was only a 15 minute walk. But the beach must have been moved, as now it would take me 45 minutes to walk there. There is another beach which is a short bus ride to get to. I prefer the one to walk to, but I'm not going anywhere, particularly alone.

I'll use my son's pool this summer. Hate to wear a bathing suit, though. At the beach I wouldn't have to. Lost so much weight, it's not a great look. Grandson is looking forward to pushing me into pool, we make a game of it. I forgot how to swim and I can barely float. Everything is so different for me. It's weird.
 
Just past 4pm here...breeze is getting up a little stronger, I've got windows open and the fan on right by my elbow...

I've spent the last hour or so, trying to get some issues sorted out with my Smart Gas meter... it meant calling the company, and they've flagged up a problem with it so they say they can send someone out at some point to fix it but in the meantime the readings for the gas consumption is not being relayed to the company electronically as it would normally being a Smart meter.. so I now have to send them a picture of the gas readings.. until such time as it's repaired

It's 98 degrees Fahrenheit where I live in CT today, 6/24/2025. I still spend most of my time trying to conquer the world in the PC game, Civilization VI. One game could last up to 6 months unless I start to lose. If I do start to lose, I start a new game.
