DGD took these pix last night when our resident doe ambled through. We see her most mornings and most evenings. She's the one guilty of eating my flowers. First pic she looks like a unicorn wearing a lei. Her "horn" was the way the light was shining on a magnolia leaf, and the "lei" is a hanging solar light of maple leaves.

I heard the best insult/karma threat today .. I think I've ever heard..

The family of the victim, was addressing the wealthy killer and their family in court... after the killer was sentenced to life without parole.... she said among a long speech ... ''I hope that all the money that you have, for the rest of your life is spent on medication !!

Brilliant..!

I liked @Veronica's comment on the "popular" thread: "You have to be my friend to hurt my feelings."
I don't agree with that stement. If that works for Veronica that's good... but no, of course people can hurt my feelings.. even if I don't know who they are.. it all depends on what's been said or done...

if a stranger killed my mother or my someone ran over my dog... or someone said something horrible about my house after I'd hosted them..... they'd hurt my feelings..they wouldn't have to be my friend to do that...

There's a glass door on my shower here, but way back in the way back when I had a shower curtain, I'd just throw it in the washer with a load of towels. Dryer on medium with the towels.
I thought about doing that GG, but I'd have to wash it downstairs in the laundry room. All the machines now rinse with cold water, so I'd be bringing this dripping, cold, heavy plastic thing and trying to hang it back up to let it dry. Since I've shrunk (literally), hanging it is harder than it used to be. Plus I'd have to then hang the garbage bag I'd put it in (somewhere) to dry out.

Drove up to check mail, stopped by mcdonald's for sausage, egg & cheese biscuit (2) and coffee. Stomach didn't appreciate it (Just took second generic tagament)

Paid off small loans from affirm. Interesting bit of information. Seems since I'm poor, the state will pay medicare premium. But for some reason this triggered SS to adjust payments.

So now (by congressional decree, rules, decisionsor whatever) SS MUST pay my SS Early (Not on 4th Wednesday) but now on 3rd of the month starting July. So that's why I paid off the loans.

Made my final stop at the bar in Oregon, playing the vlts, they took away two favorite games. So disappointed. So now will save for trips to Indian casinos now.

After my doctor visit, I figured as long as I was out an about, I'd take a trip to WalMart. I haven't been there in quite some time and I needed some things I can only get there. I thought mid-morning on a weekday, it wouldn't be so crowded. WRONG! The parking lot was near full. Had to park about 500 feet from the entrance. Only one check-out open.
It was like nightmares I have where I am trying to find things and can't locate them. Had to ask several clerks about merchandise. With all the people claiming to shop online, or have delivery, or order for pick-up, how could it be so crowded? I was probably in the store 2 hours, most of the time trying to find things or waiting for aisles to clear that were blocked with customers and their shopping carts.
I still can't find elastic waist jeans. I chased down a clerk and asked about them and she said she hasn't seen any in years.
By that time, more check-outs were open. A man in a wheelie cart got behind me. He only had one item, so I let him go ahead. My tab came to a little over $111! I don't think WalMart's prices are any better than other "big box" stores. My big item was a new toilet seat that was almost $40.

What used to be elastic waist jeans are now those Pull On jeans (?). I'm not sure what you call them. I've seen them recently.

After breakfast temp was 75 ,sticky with a slight breeze, I decided to take a long walk around 8:30 ,strolled 10 blocks{ took me 1/2hr} to my bank to deposit a couple checks
Then I walked down the street to my church, went into the business office talked with staff member for couple of minutes, had a glass of cold water, then walked across the street to wait for local bus. I was back home within 40 min
It was pouring outside at lunch time, around 2:45 when the sun came out I decided to take afternoon walk around the building. It was so humid felt like the rain didn't cool anything

I think maybe Veronica meant don't be offended by stupid remarks from unimportant people.

I've lost the combination to my Sentry Safe.
I was using a short cut version & went pass the key number.

Got instructions online of what to dial in.
Some how I keep messing it up.

Went to their web site,, was going pay to have a someone 'walk me thru it.
Reading the fine print noticed that what I thought was a $5 fee for their time became $40 per month!

Back to trying to remember the combination or finding where I hid the card.
