I'm real tired today. Did my hour walk yesterday and for the first time since surgery, had no pain. Pain came back later, of course, problem not going to be solved just by walking. So, not sure what I'm doing today, if anything. Tomorrow have two TeleHealth appointments, one late morning, one later afternoon, so I'm kinda stuck home tomorrow.
Today? Maybe I'll stay here. It's been awhile and I'd like to catch up with you guys.

Yesterday I took my laptop over to Ed's and (via hotspot), pulled up YouTube and we had a hymn fest. He can't go to church anymore, so I brought church to him. He favors old-timey gospel and I like more high-brow stuff so it was a very eclectic mix but we both enjoyed it.

Today it is pleasant outside with a stiff breeze so I turned off the AC and Flung Open the Winders!!! I know I'll have to close up again by late afternoon but it will at least air the house out.

Put out autumn decor... best time of the year!

Have wet towels, etc in the dryer.

Walked Mac.
Messed with the tomato plants that have green tomatoes on them.
Trying to get more sunshine on them, fear they would not get ripe.

I think we are going to small hometown restaurant for dinner.

Need to mail birthday card to granddaughter .

And hope to stop at grocery store,,I'm low on some items.

Enjoy the day!

Whoever is having rain, send it to PA,,,looks like a long dry spell ahead.

@CinnamonSugar You're way south of me so I know it's warmer down there...fall decor? Not here! I'll be glad when the daytime temps are in the 70s and nighttime in the 50s. Then we'll put out the Drop* stuff.

*Drop is when the leaves drop off the trees. Some people call it Fall. Some people call it Autumn. I call it Drop.

I get it, @Georgiagranny … but true-feeling-fall arrives late here and Christmas is right on its heels, so I gotta celebrate this wonderful season as long as possible 🍁🍂😊

Monday 11:33am now this morning. Jam band music yesterday, Sunday, lasted from 1pm to 11pm. Large lively happy crowd with many freestyle dancers, packed into a small venue. So I didn't get to sleep until maybe 1am, woke up at 6am, took a shower, went back to sleep till 11am. So now awake though a bit groggy from weird hours. Temperature indoors already 74F with outdoors now 87F and forecast to be not as hot, only 90F.

Little to no music scheduled anywhere this short work week till next weekend, so expect to have a quiet, productive week. Considering driving to a coastal area for a day of shore surf or rocky coast ocean fishing. There are several lightning caused fires up in far northern California and two larger fires mid state that have left smoky skies across the Sierra Nevada, so won't entertain any visits there for weeks unless Mexican monsoon weather can move north, dampen, and clean the atmosphere. I totally avoid landscape photography during smoky periods that are common by most late summers. Much worse now in the Pacific Northwest.

Still took it easy today. My son got home from his trip around 9:30 and I asked him to take me to get Chinese food (I've been wanting some for a couple of weeks). We left at noon. The restaurant is halal, which means we don't have to worry about any pork flying around in their kitchen, which makes it so much easier to order. After eating, I cleaned up the kitchen early then finished watching a movie. Tonight I did accounting for my son and myself.
